Welcome to The Science House equipment loan site! K-12 teachers that have been trained in one of our Science House Professional Development sessions are eligible to check out our equipment free of charge. Following is a list of some of our workshops that will qualify you to reserve equipment:

 "STEM to Your Doorstep" will qualify you to use any of our Vernier equipment and probeware.

“Literacy and STEM” series will qualify you to check out the equipment used in the PD sessions.

“Targeting Invention Literacy with the Makey Makey” will qualify you to check out a class set of Makey Makeys.

Sphero and other robotic workshops or our Makerspace workshops will qualify you to check out equipment used in those workshops.

***First Time Users must create an account.

To Create an Account:

1. Click on CREATE ACCOUNT (top right).

2. Add details and click SUBMIT.

3. You will be directed to the Profile Page. Please enter all information and hit SAVE. You will not be allowed to check out equipment if your profile is incomplete.

4. You will receive a confirmation email. Please open this email and click on the link to confirm your account.

To view the equipment for the Science House outreach office near you, click on the INVENTORY tab above and be sure to select the outreach office closest to you in the drop down menu on the left.

To Reserve Items for Loan:

1. LOG IN.

2. Click INVENTORY on top toolbar.

3. Choose OUTREACH OFFICE location from drop down menu on left side of screen.

4. Click on or search for desired item. Select RESERVE.

5. Select dates to reserve item.

6. Select CHECKOUT.
